2015 saw a massive influx of refugees arriving in Europe, reaching Hungary through a Balkan corridor,fleeing war in Syria and a displacement of communities from Afghanistan and North Africa.I was at Budapest's Keleti train station every day talking with and photographing the people you see here ...frozen in place at a 'transit point' unable to leave.
The images were taken at various locations and countries in and around Europe... Hungary, Serbia, Austria, Croatia,The Czech Republic, Slovakia,Germany and Macedonia.
These images were curated and presented at stand alone photo exhibitions in Budapest and Prague.
